Look in F5 for Margaret St and the scout hall is in the NE corner of the aquatic
centre. See arrow.
At the large roundabout on Jubilee Highway (Penola Road intersection - McDonalds Fastfood), turn south into Bay Road towards the lakes. Cross the main street and the railway line. At 100 metres turn right into Margaret Street. The scout hall is on the left.
Due to the change of venue there may be a re-arrangement
of the starting points for some events to obviate driving back into the town
- advice will be provided on the day.

Notes for 2009
(1) Event 6 does not count towards the overall Championship.
(2) Speed Limits – Remember 110khp is the Sign Posted, Highway Speed
Limit in SA, BUT all other roads, outside the city, are 100kph and in fact
some are 90kph. Also within the city 50kph is expected from all, even though
a few roads are 60kph. If we stay at 50kph we hopefully will not attract
any un-wanted attention. Also be extremely careful when approaching any intersection.
Remember in the country you have no idea what is on the other side of the
hill or around the next corner.

April 12th 2009
Scoring for events will be allotted to allow
every team to score points instead of just the first few. For example we
will start
with 20 points for first,
19 for second etc. This was successfully trialled in 2004. This means
that if we have 15 in the event,
the 15th placed
team
would
receive
6 points,
thereby
creating
more
interest
for
all
concerned.
Actual
scoring for each event may vary slightly, but the above principle will
apply. Full details on scoring for each event will be available on registration.
Catering will be by the widely
renowned connoisseur of the culinary art - Phil VK5HAM and
his team brought at great expense from distant Compton
.
Here is the way point numbers for a GPS - they are the start line points only. Sorry, not the location of the foxes!!!
